I am a clueless dude who stumbled into trading and investment because I was becoming a dad and I didn't want to leave my kid with nothing when I die. Along the way, I made money gambling on dog money, lost all the money earned. Then I lost some more money to cover the losess of family who traded based on my advise. I started learning technical analysis in order to trade more profitably and promptly went on to lose some more money. Somewhere along the line I started making profitable trades and I realised what I was getting wrong all the time previously. But that is a story for a seperate time.

I used to make a new post every 1-2weeks. But the last entry was dated 1 month and 10 days ago. Wow!

And I just got home from school. 0015 hours. 27th Oct 2006.

Haha.. Sorry for the apparent obsession with time. Sometimes I kinda get abit confused and couldn't be quite sure who is chasing after who.

And to think I had once thought that I'll be more "free" after the conclusion of the NBS Case Competition. Fat fat hope!

I think the only time I can look forward to now is the exams. Because I know without a doubt that I'll be left alone by then. No more phonecalls, SMSes and emails from Prof XX, YY and ZZ.

To whom it may be concern, I look forward (very eagerly) to 221206 too. = )

My impending departure for greener (some say darker) pasture has also started to affect me somewhat these days.

Makes me worry about things that I never thought I would.

In the reversed order of importance:
  1. I worry that I will start behaving and talking like an Indian when I return.
  2. I worry about catching up on my modules after returning from India.
  3. I worry that my brothers will 'rape' my PC in my absence.
  4. I worry that I will miss my family when I'm not around.
  5. I worry that my family will miss me when I'm not around.
  6. I worry that my parents won't be able to take care of themselves! Haha
  7. I worry that the family will suffer from a lack of humour when I'm gone.
  8. I worry that noone is left to bring my elder brother out for walks and window shopping trips.
  9. I worry for the well being of a particular (almost) endangered species (Koala Bear) due to the (temperory) destruction of it's natural habitat.

Don't believe me? Here's what other Koala bear lovers around the world has to say...

"Now there are only 2,000 to 8,000 koalas in the wild! Although not officially classified as endangered, the population of Australian koalas has dropped by 90% in less than a decade!

This is due to the destruction of the koala's natural habitat, a narrow crescent on the eastern coast of Australia. Logging, agriculture and urban development have not only reduced the area available to them, but added other dangers. The koala's habitat has been criss-crossed by roads, resulting in many road kills and attacks by neighboring pet dogs are frequent. Disease, too, has taken its toll on the koala..."

"The Koala requires large areas of healthy, connected forest and will travel long distances along tree corridors in search of new territory and mates. The ever-increasing human population of the coastal parts of the continent continues to cut these corridors by agricultural and residential development, forestry and road-building, marooning Koala colonies in decreasing areas of bush."

For all the boys and girls out there who are interested in SEX (knowing, not doing) but are either too shy or prideful to ask it while sober... Here's a little tidbit! I also added something for people who seems to attract the wrong kind of mosquitoes.

Question: Why do men fall asleep after sex?

Leyner: People have no idea how much work it is for a man to produce an ejaculation. You have this seminal vesicle churning out this fluid, the prostate gland producing an alkaline solution. It's like having five iron chefs in your crotch working to cook up this stuff.

Goldberg: There are hormones that are secreted at orgasm — proloactin, oxytocin —that facilitate sleep. But you have to accept as gospel that men orgasm more than women. If that's true, then you have your answer as to why men fall asleep after sex. …And it seems like women don't. If women orgasm as much as men, we might all be asleep all the time.

Question: Why are some people sweeter to mosquitoes?

Leyner: It's not anything in a particular person. Mosquitoes are attracted to things you can't avoid: body heat, carbon dioxide from exhalation. If you have no body heat and no exhalation you're dead. They're attracted to sunblock, perfume even sweat.
