I am a clueless dude who stumbled into trading and investment because I was becoming a dad and I didn't want to leave my kid with nothing when I die. Along the way, I made money gambling on dog money, lost all the money earned. Then I lost some more money to cover the losess of family who traded based on my advise. I started learning technical analysis in order to trade more profitably and promptly went on to lose some more money. Somewhere along the line I started making profitable trades and I realised what I was getting wrong all the time previously. But that is a story for a seperate time.

Haha... I haven't blogged in a long while and I initially wanted to write a lame story about the goddes of blog appearing in my dreams to order me to my computer.

But I thought the story was crap and scrapped it!

Anyway, I sort of stopped and counted my days and I came to this conclusion.

70% of my time is tied down to the case competition. The other 30% breakdown is as such.

10% for world cup

10% for my family

5% for my self reflection

4.9% for my friends

0.1% for eating sleeping and blogging.

Haha.. Yes, I failed my maths before and I'm sure that wasn't meant to be the only time too.

Anyway, after a VERY long while I decided that I should reward myself for a very good year.

And so yesterday I made a trip down to a shopping mall and bought myself a wallet and belt from my favorite brand : Braun Buffel

For my willingness to impluse buy beyond the $200 mark, the good people of Metro gave me a bottle of 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon.

I thought about it for a while and decided that the wallet will be a birthday gift to myself. and the belt? Well, I just wanted to buy a belt lah.

Hmm... Kinda sad, but I've gotten used to it already.

The way I was brought up, we never expected to get presents, not for birthdays, christmas or any other day for that matter.

So this year I'm grateful I at least have 1. Haha... A giant mug, and a goofy one at that.

After I paid up for my stuff, I can't help going back to the counter to take another extra look at the hand carry briefcase they are displaying.

"You'll be eligible for another bottle of red wine if you buy the briefcase." The salewoman said.

I couldn't bottle my laughter and roared out loud.

"I can buy many more bottles with $550!" I replied.

Maybe, that's what I'll buy for myself next year.
