I am a clueless dude who stumbled into trading and investment because I was becoming a dad and I didn't want to leave my kid with nothing when I die. Along the way, I made money gambling on dog money, lost all the money earned. Then I lost some more money to cover the losess of family who traded based on my advise. I started learning technical analysis in order to trade more profitably and promptly went on to lose some more money. Somewhere along the line I started making profitable trades and I realised what I was getting wrong all the time previously. But that is a story for a seperate time.

Alpha/Omega?

With the blink of an eye a whole year breezed by.

Many things happened in the time past. Some of those things I will always remember and yet there are some I am trying very hard to forget.

To mark the end of our first year in NTU, the people in my class headed down to the Settlers cafe in Clarke Quay for a gathering which I dearly hope will not be the last.

Though it was predictable, I was still a wee little disappointed that not everyone turned up.

Truth be told I didn't want the day to end. It has taken me a very long time before I got comfortable with these people, and yet we may not get together again now that we are more familiar with one another.

Hehe, but I do know that Kim, Joel and Apple are all gonna do B & F next year and I felt better every time I think about that. = )

Cailing, Weiting and Apple came over my place after our lunch (I cannot explain why our "lunch" ended at 6pm) for a table top swim.

Only when they stepped foot unto my place did I realize that it probably wasn't the most appropriate of times for them to visit. My dad started some renovation work on the place a few days ago and my home was a state of dust and mess.

Furthermore, the door for the toilet was taken down and replaced with a makeshift curtain, which meant that Weiting and Cailing had to be "creative/vigilant" when they relieve themselves!

Finally, their arrival also meant that I had a chance to discover that my air-con is ready to be recycled after years of neglect.... = )

Haha.... Even thinking about the night brings some more smiles back to my face. But nothing last forever, much less a game of mahjong.

As the three of them (Cailing & Weiting in 1, Apple in another) took off in their cabs. I felt a certain sense of sadness. Will we ever swim together again? =
